Work
I currently work for the Williamsburg Public Schools as the technology coordinator. I teach classes to all grades - from preschool to grade 6. I am also responsible for all the computers, technology, and networks at the school. My previous job was at the Hampshire Educational Collaborative (HEC) as a educational technology consultant. I am involved in a number of distance learning projects as well as some internal database redesign work.
Previously at HEC, I working on the VES (Virtual Educational Space) project and on a number of grants that provided education technology teacher training.
Before my current job (which started July 1, 1999), I was a third grade teacher for 7 seven years at the Wildwood School in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Before that, I was a principal software engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation.
